Brought in a Seiko 5 bracelet that had developed a lot of lateral play near the clasp. They sized it correctly and replaced two screws that had stripped threads I had not even noticed. Quick counter visit, maybe forty minutes. The bracelet now fits properly and the clasp closes cleanly. No fuss, no unnecessary upselling.

My Tissot Automatics had been stopping overnight for about six months. I had assumed it was something wrong with the main movement, but Hafiz identified it as a winding module issue pretty quickly. The cyclotest figure they provided showed the winding efficiency had dropped significantly. Two and a half weeks later it came back working as it should, and the written report explained what the before and after readings mean in plain terms.

Came for a bracelet refit on a newly acquired vintage piece. The end links were not sitting correctly against the case and there was some play on one side. Amir sorted it in the visit and showed me what had caused it — a screw that had been partially replaced at some point with an incorrect size. The bracelet now sits flush. Challenge
Automatic stopping overnight
Client wore their ETA 2824-based automatic daily but found it stopping after fewer than eight hours of being off the wrist. Previous service had not identified the cause.
Solution
Rotor module service with cyclotest
Cyclotest pre-service showed winding efficiency at 34% of specification — well below the threshold for reliable daily reserve. Reversing wheels were worn. Module cleaned, wheels replaced, efficiency re-measured post-service at 91%.
Result
Full reserve restored
Watch now holds full reserve through an overnight period reliably. Client received written documentation of both efficiency readings. Duration: 2.5 weeks.

Challenge
1920s pocket watch, thirty years stopped
Inherited piece with a movement that had not run in over three decades. Case showed a dent on the back cover, one hinge worn loose, and a cracked mineral crystal. Parts availability was unknown.
Solution
Full restoration commission, five months
Survey and signed scope produced before disassembly. Main spring replaced, escapement cleaned, hinge re-pinned, dent raised from case back, original-specification crystal sourced. One hand-fabricated component where donor stock was unavailable, noted in dossier.
Result
Running within ±15 sec/day
Piece returned in fitted storage case with a 34-page bound dossier including 47 photographs and full parts provenance notes. Client could present documentation to insurer. Duration: 5.5 months.

Challenge
Ill-fitting bracelet on newly acquired watch
Client purchased a vintage Omega Constellation secondhand. The bracelet had been sized for a previous owner and rode too far around the wrist. Three links too long on one side, two on the other.
Solution
Counter adjustment with clasp inspection
Links removed to correct sizing. During the process, one end link was found to be incorrectly fitted — an issue unrelated to sizing but causing the bracelet to sit at an angle. Refitted at no additional cost. Clasp spring bar replaced. Ultrasonic clean completed.
Result
Correct fit, same visit
Client collected the watch within the visit. Bracelet now sits correctly against the case and the clasp closes securely. Total time: 40 minutes. Duration: same day.
